performance for Jaded PGH
This original performance was created with my mother, Jeemin Kim. Despite being a lifelong painter trained in numerous institutions, my mother resented the idea that I might follow in her footsteps and pursue an artistic career. In fact, we hadn't painted or made art together since I was a toddler, when she thought it might be a harmless enrichment activity.
